The Doctor’s Nose, named after John Traill, Tenterfield’s first Doctor, is the dominant rocky mountain on the western horizon forming the perfect backdrop for the view of Tenterfield from the Reid family farm Koorooba. Situated just five minutes drive from the Tenterfield CBD, Koorooba has been the home of the Reid family since the 1860s, the vineyard being established in 1997 by three generations, Max, Peter and Ben Reid. Peter and Janice Reid have since developed the small vineyard that produces a fine selection of wines. They include Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Shiraz with new plantings including Verdelho, Tempranillo, Petite Verdot, and Grenache. The heritage collection of wines celebrates the history of Emily Coxall, Kate Smith and Helena Maxwell and their contribution to family life at “Koorooba”. We invite you to browse our site, learn more
